Citizen Science

It isn’t necessary to hold a degree in some environmental studies program to become a good “citizen scientist.” In fact, most AIS (aquatic invasive species) infestations are first reported by individuals just enjoying their favorite lake. With the wealth of knowledge available literally at our fingertips on the internet, everyone can become a steward of our lakes.
