Larry Anderson Bio
Larry Anderson moved to Big Floyd Lake in 2015 with his wife Kathy. They have one son, Luke, his wife Liz and two grandchildren, Gavin and Quinn. Larry retired from 35 years of teaching 6th grade in Crookston MN. His interests have covered a variety of outdoor activities, including, hunting, fishing, hiking and snowshoeing. As a teacher he introduced students to the wonders of Itasca State Park, in the classroom he taught math and science. Larry’s lifetime interests brought him to address his concerns in outdoor education, water quality and Aquatic Invasive Species. Larry is an AIS Detector for the U of M Extension.
